Description

As Executive Producer for League of Legends at Riot you?ll report to the Head of League Studio. You?ll be responsible for all aspects of the development of the game League of Legends and for all product outcomes. You?ll also be expected to help wider Riot leadership build and execute on Riot?s overall long term strategy.�

Responsibilities:

Overall

Overall accountability for the development of League of Legends on PC and leadership of the dev team that creates itOverall accountability for all League of Legends product outcomes, including engagement, sentiment, revenue, and operational costs

Product and Strategy

Steering overall strategy for League of Legends, ensuring strong product, creative, and organizational strategies are in placeMaintaining a strong live service offering for players while also building the next evolutions of League over a multiple year time horizon�Ensuring that the League dev team?s vision and development philosophy continue to evolve to meet both current and future player and Riot needs�

Team Management

Lead the League of Legends senior leadership team, including coaching, mentoring, hiring and performance management to ensure a world class game leadership teamEmpowering other leadership team members in their areas of expertise, while also holding them accountable to both quality of outcomes for both the greater League ecosystem and Riot as a wholeEnsuring a high performance culture when it comes to individual performances, performance management processes and team effectivenessResponsible for ongoing evolution of the League of Legends team?s structure, composition, roster, and recruiting strategy, ensuring the team adapts as needed to accomplish key goals for players and Riot.Ensure League of Legends has a healthy, proactive, driven and inclusive culture that drives great results for players and Rioters alike

Wider Riot

Establish and maintain strong partnerships with other parts of Riot, from other products in the same IP, to partners in the League ecosystem like esports to relationship with internal service teams like Player PlatformKey member of both wider League Studio Leadership and wider Riot leadership, representing the needs of League of Legends while maintaining a holistic Riot mindset. Key contributor to wider Riot planning rituals.

Required Qualifications:

Successful track record managing a large, complex organizationProven ability to support and grow other senior leaders (Director+)Experience in a leadership role on a live service game or developing and shipping a new game15+ years of industry experience, including at least 10+ in leadership roles

Desired Qualifications:

Professional experience on a long running team PVP titleExperience in leadership roles on both live service game teams and in developing and shipping new gamesSignificant MOBA experience, as developer and playerExperience guiding a large organization through multiple high priority work streams at once (e.g. development of multiple titles in parallel, or maintaining a strong live service while building a large overhaul, or splitting an organization to pursue an emergent bet while maintaining key priorities etc)
